Protocol and special guests came together at the plaque ceremony hosted by Özaltın Holding Board Vice President and Gloria Sports Arena CEO Elif Özdemir. Elif Özdemir made a statement at the ceremony: "We are proud to be an 'Olympic Training Center'. We have further strengthened our facility, where we provide services in more than 50 branches under the roof of Gloria Sports Arena, with this competence. With less than a year before Paris 2024, we will be happy to host champion athletes from all over the world, especially our national athletes, once again. It is very valuable for us that the facilities we offer for athletes are approved by the Turkish National Olympic Committee. In this process, as Olympic Training Center, we will continue to be the best camp and performance center in our country for all federations and elite athletes who will prepare for international championships. For this reason, I would like to thank the Turkish National Olympic Committee, especially Prof. Dr. Uğur Erdener."
Özdemir underlined that they will take firm steps towards their goal of becoming a world-class center by further increasing their contacts with international athletes and teams.
Stating that they came together for a very exciting purpose for Turkey and Antalya, Antalya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yavuz Gürhan said: "It is exciting that this special destination will host the Olympic teams. It makes us proud that a facility with such high standards is serving in Antalya. We are happy to support and prepare Olympic teams. We will continue to send successful teams to the Olympics."
Pointing out that the vision of Nuri Özaltın, the founder of Özaltın Holding and Gloria Hotels & Resorts, was the foundation of the facility, Prof. Dr. Uğur Erdener, President of the Turkish National Olympic Committee, said: "The late Nuri Özaltın entrusted the future of Gloria Sports Arena to Elif Özdemir. Elif Özdemir is carrying this legacy forward in the best way possible. Gloria Sports Arena is among the best 2-3 facilities in the world among the existing Olympic preparation centers. This facility, which meets all the needs of an athlete, is a unique facility not only for Turkish athletes but also for foreign athletes. The accreditation of such a facility by the Turkish National Olympic Committee (TNOC) will bring prestige here. Of course, this facility with high standards has a cost, but it is worth it for the success of the athletes. I believe that Gloria Sports Arena will be further developed and become much better in the coming period.
Speaking at the ceremony, Abdullah Topaloğlu, President of the Turkish Archery Federation, said: "Gloria Sports Arena, which hosts our camps, plays a major role in the success of our athletes. I am sure that this facility, which has an important place in the success of our athlete Mete Gazoz, will make great contributions to Turkish sports in the coming period in cooperation with the Turkish National Olympic Committee."

It is a pleasure to be in such a facility."
